I had such a fabulous week!
The grade one team started a unit on Master Painters. I started with studying van Gogh. The students are loving learning all about him. Really using effective teaching strategies and trying new things out. They really connected with the content and are thinking far beyond just the content that they are learning. Making connections from the paintings to themselves! I started using a Schema file and they are really getting it too! OMG!
One of my happy teaching weeks for sure!
On top of that, I had 2 lessons that were observed by the VP too. Made it through with a smile.
I LOVE my job!
